I’m
Laura, an artist, a mother, and a storyteller residing in
Belgium. Raised in war-torn Grozny, Chechen Republic, I’ve always held
on to an inner knowing: we have the choice to keep our hearts open, no
matter the circumstances.

I’ve always been a poet. Words were my first
way of expressing my deepest thoughts and emotions. As I learned five
languages, I realized that words alone couldn’t always capture the full
depth of what I felt inside. That’s when I felt called to pick up a
brush.

Through my art, I hope to invite you into a space of beauty, hope, and strength—one that resonates deeply with every soul.

Laura Majieva’s creative journey began in childhood, where she explored her natural talent through sculpting, drawing, music, and singing. This early love for creativity set the foundation for a life filled with artistic expression.

With a Master’s degree in International Law and fluency in five languages, Laura possesses a unique perspective that informs her art. Her rich experiences and multicultural background allow her to convey universal truths through her work, speaking to the soul in ways words often cannot.

Before dedicating herself fully to her art, Laura spent over two decades in the fashion and advertisement industry. Her expertise in photography, set dressing, styling, and art direction has given her an exceptional eye for detail and composition—skills that now shine in her paintings.

Laura’s technique is rooted in a layered process that brings incredible depth to her work. She often begins with mixed media, building textures and dimensions, and finishes her paintings with oils. The rich colors of natural pigments not only enhance the visual impact of her pieces but also align beautifully with her holistic approach to life and nature.

Her artistic style blends abstract and realism, creating powerful visual narratives that tell a story and convey profound emotion. Through this fusion, Laura’s work invites viewers into a space of beauty, hope, and strength, offering a connection that resonates deeply with the soul.
